Single Process Deep Dive

A fixed-price, one-day consulting sprint to map, analyse, and blueprint the solution for one specific operational headache (e.g., Invoicing, Onboarding, or Despatch).

One Day Solution

Example Agenda:

09:00 | Kick-Off We start with a 15-minute briefing with your team to set expectations. I explain that I am not here to judge performance, but to find process friction.

09:15 | "Over-the-Shoulder" Shadowing I physically follow the process from start to finish. I sit with your staff, watch the screens, see the manual workarounds, and note every time they have to switch windows or copy-paste data.

12:30 | Data Review While your team breaks for lunch, I clarify any missing logic gaps and review the raw data outputs to ensure they match the physical process.

13:15 | Mapping & Analysis I retreat to a quiet desk to build the "As-Is" Process Map while the evidence is fresh. I identify the exact points where time and money are leaking.

16:30 | Deliverables We end the day with a 30-minute presentation to the Leadership Team. You get a verbal summary of the Top 3 Findings, the projected ROI of fixing them, and the immediate next steps. This will be followed up by a full written report delivered to your inbox within 48 hours.

⚠️ Important: "Messy" is fine. Do not try to "tidy up" before I arrive.

I need to see the sticky notes on the monitors, the secret Excel sheets, and the frustration. If you clean the process up for my visit, I cannot diagnose the real problem. Show me the chaos.

The Checklist

To make this day effective, I need four things:

  1. Pick ONE Core Process: Don't try to fix the whole company. Pick the one thing that hurts the most (e.g., Quote-to-Order, Month-End Close, or Inventory Picking).

  2. Access: Grant me permission to sit with the people doing the work and see the screens they use.

  3. A Point of Contact: One person for me to report back to during the day.

  4. NDA: Standard commercial confidentiality is assumed, but I am happy to sign your specific NDA for peace of mind.
